Resort Showcase – The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness offer guests the tranquility of a secluded cabin, with all the amenities and accessibility of a Magic Kingdom resort.
Originally opened in 1971, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a vacation experience unlike any other that you’ll find on Walt Disney World property.
Tucked away among the pine trees, this campground and resort is a stone’s throw from Wilderness Lodge and Bay Lake. It’s made up of more than 400 log cabins, and just over 800 campsites across 750 lush, wooded acres.

In fact, there are seemingly even more activities to suit the outdoorsy types that flock to the campsites and cabins, including trail rides and hikes, water and group sports, and a campfire sing-along.
